When we first imagined opening Rela-Cuisine, we dreamed of creating more than just a place to enjoy authentic Nigerian food. We wanted to create a space where people could come together, share great conversations, celebrate culture, and enjoy unforgettable flavours.
On 28 May 2026, that dream became a reality.
Our official launch brought together more than 70 guests, including families, friends, neighbours, and food lovers from across Norwich. The atmosphere was filled with laughter, conversations, music, and the wonderful aroma of freshly prepared Nigerian dishes.
Seeing so many people gathered together to support a new local business was truly overwhelming. Every meal served, every smile shared, and every encouraging conversation reminded us why we started Rela-Cuisine.
More Than Just Food
At Rela-Cuisine, we believe food has the power to bring people together.
Our opening day wasn’t simply about serving meals—it was about introducing Norwich to the rich flavours, traditions, and hospitality of Nigerian cuisine. Whether guests were trying Jollof Rice for the first time, enjoying our freshly prepared Asun, sampling our famous Puff Puff, or chatting with friends while waiting for their order, the day captured everything Rela-Cuisine stands for: community, culture, and connection.
